I was given the opportunity to work with a website called Novica.com. It is one of the leading fair trade artisan websites. They work with National Geographic to give talented artisans around the world a place to express their artistic talents and provide access to the world market. You can find thousands of top fair trade Corporate Gifts and home decor items on their website as well as jewelry, apparel and paintings.

I decided to review some of the beautiful sterling silver jewelry they offer.

 I received this 'Magical Harmony' anklet from India. It's made with peridot, pearl and sterling silver by a designer named Ritu. The picture does not do this piece justice - it's BEAUTIFUL! The sterling silver beads around the pearls are a very nice addition to the peridot beads that make up this anklet.

I also received a sterling silver charm bracelet with matching earrings from Thailand. They were made by an artist named Hiroshi Kimoto. I love his designs! I went with the 'Orange Passion' bracelet and earrings. I could not find the Orange Passion bracelet picture but it looks exactly like the picture but uses the colors that are shown in the earrings picture. I was very excited to get this bracelet because it is so original. The hearts are made of glass with silver flakes inside of them.

 

Finally, I also received a set of three sterling silver band rings called 'Together' made by an artist named Buana. I love stacking rings so I had to have this set once I saw it online. The details of the swirls are beautiful. I love the rings stacked together but some times I where two on one hand and the other one on my other hand because they are a little tighter than I like when worn together. I would recommend ordering one size bigger than usual if you are going to be wearing all three of them on the same finger.

All of the jewelry came in  very pretty jewelry boxes with a card from each of the designers. The shipping varies depending on which part of the country your order comes from but the pricing is very reasonable and fair. I was very satisfied with this company and all of the artistist that I ordered from. These are very beautiful and original gifts.

The Cream Perfume Company - Review and Giveaway

Sooooooooooooooooo, I'm back to doing product reviews again even though I'm STILL not finished moving into my new house. I couldn't resist my love of trying new things! The good news for you guys is that when I do reviews you all get to enter amazing giveaways for great products. I received a great package from The Cream Perfume Company for review this time.

I have to say I LOVE THIS STUFF! I was given the coconut, lavender and rose moisturizing body lotions as well as the Mimosa Bouquet and Apricot Chypre solid fragrances.

The lotions are all certified organic with European essentials oils that make them smell amazing! The lavender is by far my favorite with the coconut coming in last. The lotion made my skin super soft and softly scented - not over powering at all. Just subtle and sweet.

I'm usually not a huge fan of solid perfume because it never seems to last like the spray but this surprised me! Mimosa is one of my favorite scents so I was excited to try this one. It smells amazing and to my surprise it really lasted all day long!!!! I was so happy because this is definitely one of my new beauty products. The Apricot smells very, very good as well and has hints of jasmine, which just so happens to be one of my other favorite scents.

Gortons Potatoe Crunch Review and Giveaway

I recently tried the Gorton's Potatoe Crunch Fish Fillets. I received a coupon to get it for free in exchange for this review. The fish was delicious and Grant and Chase both loved them too. I don't buy fish very often and I havn't eaten fish sticks in forever but these fillets were really good. The potatoe add to the crust made them super crunchy and added a great new flavor to ordinary fish fillets. I ate mine plain and Chase decided to make a sandwich with his. Grant had some with home made tartar sauce and loved them. I'll probably be buying them again because they were a hit. It was also a great way to get Mr. Chase face to eat fish. I cooked them in the oven as directed instead of cooking them in oil or frying them. Even if you don't like fish sticks or fish from a box you should try the potatoe crunch variety because they taste great.

Glade Sense and Spray Review

I recently recieved a Glade Sense and Spray for review. I was given the unit plus two refills in exchange for my review. It gives you the freshness you want but only when you need it. If there is no one in the room, why waste your air freshener? It was the first air freshener with a motion sensor. The innovative smart unit automatically detects motion and releases a concentrated burst of fresh fragrance. I received Hawaiian Breeze and Clean Linen. They both smelled great but the Hawaiian Breeze was my favorite. It reminded me ot the beach with the sweet coconut smell. I started with the unit in my kitchen using the Clean Linen scent. It worked very well but there is a lot of traffic in my kitchen and I felt like it was spraying too often. The unit goes into a lock-out mode for 30 minutes after it sprays but it seemed like we were always walking by it. You can customize your fragrance level at any time by pushing the Boost Button for an extra burst, even if your unit is in lock-out mode. This was never neccesary since it sprays every thirty minutes. Refills last for up to 30 days but I switched to the Hawaiian Breeze because I wanted to try them both out. I decided to move the unit to the bathroom. It was the perfect spot. Every time one of us walked into the bathroom it would spray out a big burst of Hawaii and scent the whole room. I placed it on top of a shelf that faced the bathroom door and it even worked every time I walked into the bathroom. I'm only 4'11 so it was way above my head but it still detected me every time. We liked it so much that we went out and bought another one for our guest bathroom. There are six scents available in the refills but I stuck with the Hawaiian Breeze, it is definetly my favorite. The Glade Sense and Spray works great so you should try using one in your bathroom too.

Super Healthy Giveaways for the New Year

It's that time of year when everyone is making their resolutions for the new year. Getting healthy is usually on everyones mind. Exercise, eat healthy, remember my vitamins - those are just a few of mine. If you want to get healthy or stay healthy for the new year too I have a great collection of reviews and lots of giveaways I'd like to share with you.

First, I'll start with Metamucil since fiber is very important for our dietary health. I was given a bottle in exchange for this review. I was taking another fiber supplement but I have switched to the Metamucil now that I've had a chance to try it. Did you know that certain types of fiber can actually give you MORE benefits than others? Metamucil contains psyllium fiber which helps to reduce the risk of heart disease because it helps lower cholesteral. Most other fiber supplements can't do that because they don't contain psyllium.

All you have to do is dissolve the recomended dosage in a glass of water and you're done. It has a very smooth texture so it dissolves easily without leaving big clumps of powder. The Metamucil I tried tasted like oranges. It wasn't orange juice (obviously) but it did taste like oranges and I had no problem with the flavor so I was able to drink the whole glass without making crazy faces like I do with other supplements and medicine. You can take Metamucil for occasional constapation and to stay regular.

I've never had a charm bracelet before so I was so excited to get this package. I had the opportunity to pick out eight charms that I wanted the most to be attached to the bracelet. It took me forever to pick out the charms I wanted because they have such a huge selection to choose from. I spent about two hours checking out everything on the site and finally came to a decision. I also couldn't resist the Big Sister charm cause I love my little (he's like two feet taller than me, and ten years younger) brother to death. Lastly, I got the maxed speedometer because I have a habit or driving way to fast and again, I've been in about twenty car accidents. It was so nice to pick out all of the charms myself. Pure Silk Shaving Cream Review and Giveaway

I've used Pure Silk shaving cream forever. I usually get the big bottle that is raspberry scented. I was scent a free can recently in exchange for this review. The review bottle that I received was melon splash scented. I had forgotten how good melon scented products smelled! I'm all about beauty products that smell good. Shower time is especially important for us moms since it's a quick little bit of "me time" so we need nice, pampering, smell-good, spa-like products. The Pure Silk shave cream fits that description. It leaves your legs super soft and smooth since it's a cream instead of a gel which covers your legs evenly for a great, even shave and it is made with special moisturizers that help softener your legs as you shave.

Pure Silk shave gel has another added bonus now - the completely aluminum cans! What does that mean? No more rusty ring in your shower. I HATE trying to scrub and clean that ring out of my shower! Now, I don't have to anymore thanks to the brand new can design. The new cans are also ten percent smaller and eleven percent lighter which means it's made with less material but contains the same amount of the product.

WholesaleKeychain.com Review and Giveaway

WholessaleKeychain.com has every type of keychain that you can imagine! I was able to pick out three different keychains offered on their site for free in exchange for this review. It took a while to pick out what I wanted because they have so many different choices. There are butterflies, hearts, games, flashlight, picture frames, Disney characters, cars, carabiners, bottle openers - and that's not all! There are so many more keychains of all sorts to choose from.

One of my choices was this pink digital photo keychain. The picture quality is great! It has a rechargable battery and connects to your computer with a usb cable. It comes with a program that you use to transfer the pictures to the frame.

There is a small metal plate attached to the back that you can have engraved. Mine says "Manda" and it looks  very nice in an easy to read font.

For my second choice I went with the keychain flash drive. It holds 64MB of files and is available in three different colors, red, blue and black. I decided to go with the blue and I also had it engraved. I was able to put the name of my blog in larger letters with a smaller lin underneath with the the web address. It's very simply to use like any other flash drive and it works great for my files.

Finally, I chose the pepper spray with the leather case as my last keychain. I'm not sure why, I guess because I've never had a bottle of pepper spray before so I figured, "Why not?" Fortunately I have not had an opportunity to use it. I considered spraying my husband with it to see if it worked, but I figured he didn't really deserve that, so I just asked him if he wanted to help me with a product review. He said, "Sure," but then I told him it was pepper spray and he laughed at me and said I was crazy. Atleast I tried! The pepper spray bottle is in a nice leather case. I chose purple but there are four other color choices. You can also have these cases personalized. Of course mine says, "Manda" and it's written in a cursive font with a pretty gold.

Oral-B Stages Review and Giveaway

Oral-B Stages are the number one, dentist recommended manual toothbrushes for kids.

There are four stages that are seperated by age, included: stage 1 (4 to 24 months), stage 2 (2 to 4 years old), stage 3 (5 to 7 years old), and stage 4 (8 years old and up). They also have an Oral-B stages toothpaste to go along with the brushes that is available with different Disney characters on the package. I was sent one of each of the brushes from the different stages and one tube of the toothpaste, which unfortunately for Mr. Chase Face, I was sent the Disney Princesses. It is a fruity blue gel paste that Chase likes the flavor of but he uses a toothpaste for older kids now.

The Stage One brushes are soft with an adult sized handle so that you can brush your babies teeth. Stage Two is specialy made for little hands and little mouths. Stage Three is made for growing kids with more control over their bigger hands and mouths while they are brushing. Eco Store USA Review and Giveaway

Eco Store USA is a company that knows that it can be expensive to buy natural or organic products, but they've found a way around this by safely super-concentrating each formulation they use. This means that a little really does go a long, long way and the result is saving money by significantly cutting down on cost per use.

I love to buy natural, organic and green products but I've found that you have to pay for them! I was very impressed with the prices I found at the Eco Store because they are very resonable and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the products that they sent to me. In exchange for this review I was sent two full sized products. I received the automatic dishwasher detergent and the laundry powder. I liked the way that I didn't need to use much of either of the products to get things super clean. You guys read about Mr. Chase Face all the time, my eight year old son and my wonderful husband, Grant. These guys leave me the dirtiest clothes ever, especially Grant, who works construction. I usually end up washing his clothes seperate from Chases and my clothes. I decided to try the Eco Stores laundry powder on a load of his clothes and surprisingly enough they were actually clean! The powder worked wonderfully.

As for the dishwasher detergent - LOVED IT! Washing dishes at our house is such an ordeal. Grant and I both hate doing dishes! I don't want to have to soak them, wash them by hand and pick off any stuck on left overs when I'm going to load them into a machine that is suppose to wash them for me. Grant will open the dishwasher to get a cup and say that they are all dirty because I didn't wash them by hand first and he'll rewash them all! I've tried tons of different detergents, gels, and packets hoping to find one that worked without having to handwash the dishes first. With the Eco Store dishwasher powder all that I did was rinse the dishes off and stick them in the dishwasher. When I opened the door when they were finished I loved the fresh, clean smell. The dishes were very clean and the cups were totally clean too. A lot of times the cups have rings in the bottom that we have to wash out by hand. It worked much better than anything else that I have ever used and it's all natural!

The Eco Store products have No Nasty Chemicals™! There are no toxic petrochemicals, enzymes, optical whiteners, synthetic perfumes or dyes, sodium lauryl sulphate, added phosphates, chlorine, ammonia, ammonia, tea, DEA, MEA, parabens, or propylene glycol.

Sometimes, I am so dingy or ditzy or dumb - whatever you like to call it. I wrote this review but I had to leave before I had a chance to write about the giveaway and then I totally forgot about it so it's just been sitting there as a draft and I've been thinking that I had it posted! So let's just move past my forgettful stupidity and get on with the giveaway.
